Ting Wang recognized for top paper in environmental chemistry

PhD student Ting Wang has been selected for the 2022 Gonter Graduate Student Paper Award by the American Chemical Society.

Considered the highest award given to students by the Division of Environmental Chemistry of the American Chemical Society, the Gonter Graduate Student Paper Awards are designed to encourage and reward outstanding graduate students working towards degrees in environmental chemistry and engineering who submit the highest quality research papers.

Wang’s award-winning paper focused on the potential application of locally enhanced electric field treatment (LEEFT) for highly efficient water disinfection. She presented her work and accepted the award on Aug. 23 at the American Chemical Society conference in Chicago.
