Biography

Jon W. Drysdale is a partner in Lowe Engineers, LLC., a civil engineering/surveying firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Drysdale has over 52 years’ experience in civil engineering projects. He has been project director, manager and/or engineer on a variety of projects covering many areas of civil engineering. Most of the work has involved several integrated sub‐areas of civil engineering including mapping, surveying, site development, hydrology, hydraulics, site planning, master plan development for multi‐phased developments, military construction management and master plans, utilities/infrastructure maintenance activities, etc. Mr. Drysdale has extensive experience in public/private partnership and outsourcing in the performance of traditional governmental public works operations.

Mr. Drysdale has a broad range of experience in planning, design, and analysis of various utility systems, including storm, sanitary, water, electrical, gas, and communications. His experience in recent years has included large, complicated infrastructure systems serving entire facilities and installations. He has extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems and Automated Mapping and Facilities Management Systems, including interfacing with other digital applications. Mr. Drysdale is experienced with the common Geographic Information System platforms. He has directed the interfacing of various other software packages to these key GIS systems.
