CEE Professor Kimberly Kurtis Named ACerS Fellow

Congratulations to Dr. Kimberly Kurtis, professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Dr. Kurtis was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors to be elevated to Dr. Kimberly KurtisFellow of the American Ceramics Society (ACerS).

Marina Pascucci, president of ACerS, discussed the importance of this honor in a letter to Dr. Kurtis. She added she personal congratulations, stating "this is a well deserved recognition of your accomplishments!"

Recognition of this achievement will be given at the ACerS Honors and Awards Banquet on October 17, 2011. The awards banquet will be held at the ACerS 113th Annual Meeting in Columbus, Ohio.
