Undergraduate Studies at CEE
CEE undergraduate programs provide a solid foundation in the fundamentals of engineering and science coupled with a variety of electives that allow students to tailor their studies to a specific technical interest. Undergraduate degree options include:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering (BSEnvE)
- Joint BS/MS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
All CEE students may participate in two special academic initiatives: the International Plan (IP) and the Division of Professional Practice (DoPP).
The DoPP includes Cooperative Education (Co-op), the Georgia Tech Internship Program (GTIP), and the Work Abroad Program. These give students the opportunity to work co-op jobs and internships in the Atlanta area, across the United States, and around the world, with employers ranging from small privately owned enterprises to major multinational corporations, governmental agencies, and nonprofit organizations. Students who successfully complete IP and DoPP programs receive special degree designations on their diplomas and/or transcripts.
