Georgakakos Appointed to National Climate Assessment Development and Advisory Committee (NCADAC)

Dr. Aris GeogakakosProfessor Aris Georgakakos, director of the Georgia Water Resources Institute, was nominated and appointed to the National Climate Assessment Development and Advisory Committee (NCADAC). The National Climate Assessment is a Presidential initiative carried out under the auspices of the Global Change Research Act of 1990. The NCADAC mandate is to prepare and present a comprehensive report to the President and the Congress that evaluates, integrates, and interprets the findings of the $2.6 billion federal research program on global change (USGCRP).
