Biography

Dr. Sotira Z. Yiacoumi is currently a Professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She received a Diploma of Engineering degree from the Aristotle University, Greece, in 1985, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Syracuse University in 1987 and 1992, respectively.   • Sorption of metal ions from aqueous solutions
  • Sorption/desorption of organic compounds from aqueous solutions by natural particles

  • Influence of sorption rates on particle flocculation kinetics
