Dr. Work received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of California - Berkeley, and his Ph.D. in Coastal and Oceanographic Engineering from the University of Florida. His expertise is in coastal engineering, sediment transport, and environmental fluid mechanics, and his experience includes field, laboratory, and numerical modeling studies. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and frequent consultant for industry and government. He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ COPRI (Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute) board.
