Biography
Dr. Winer served as Chair of the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering from 1988 through 2007. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1961 and a Ph.D. in Physics from Cambridge University in England in 1964.
