What are the available site license software packages on campus?
What calendaring options do I have?
What software is installed in the CEE computer labs?
All Georgia Tech owned computer within CEE can have the following software installed on them:
Matlab
AutoCAD (including Land Desktop)
SolidEdge
MathCAD *
* MathCAD has a different license than all of the other packages. It can only be used by Professors.
There are also packages that are offered by OIT. Click the link below to see OIT's list of available site license software.

There are three main options for calendaring here on campus
- Corporate Time
- Portal Calendar
- Outlook Calendar
Each of these options are described below
Corporate Time
Corporate Time is a campus wide server based calendaring system. It allows for scheduling of personal items as well as items with others on campus that have a Corporate Time account. You can connect to Corporate Time both from the web or from software installed on your local PC. Corporate Time also allows for syncing with a Palm pilot for all of your calendar events and contacts (with the use of additional software installed on your PC). Any faculty or Staff member of Georgia Tech can have a Corporate Time account. It is not available for students.
To have a Corporate Time calendar account created call OIT at 404-894-7173 and ask them to create a Corporate Time account.

The Mathcad Add-In for Microsoft Excel lets you add Mathcad calculations and plots to your Excel worksheets with full access to worksheet data. The add-in features a 3D plot wizard, easy mapping between Excel ranges and Mathcad variables, automatic recalculation, and online help. This updated version contains both bug fixes and minor improvements including support for Office XP (U.S. English only) and Windows XP; support of international users is provided through Office 2000. Use this add-in to enhance your Excel worksheets with Mathcad calculations and 3D plots. Recommended for all Microsoft Excel users.
