Please join us in dedicating three new BC labs at Georgia Tech. This event will demonstrate the innovative technology and cutting-edge research specifically for the construction industry. These labs include:
1) Economics of the Sustainable Built Environment Lab (ESBE)
Dr. Baabak Ashuri, College of Architecture
ESBE is located on the 1st floor of the Heffernan House at 166 5th Street. Please enter through back door.
2) Construction Information Technology Laboratory
Dr. Ioannis Brilakis, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Located in room 103 of the Architecture West building.
3) CONECTech Lab (Enhancing the Construction Environment through Cognitive Technologies)
Dr. Javier Irizarry, College of Architecture
Located in room 265D of the Architecture East building.
EVENT AGENDA:
4:30 PM Meet in College of Architecture's Atrium
4:30-5:30 PM Lab Tours/3 groups led by students rotating through 3 labs. 15 minutes per lab.
5:30 PM All return promptly to Atrium.
5:35 PM Opening Remarks-Dr. Linda Thomas-Mobley.
5:40-6:00 PM 5 minute poster presentations/ribbon cutting.
6:00-6:30 PM Networking/Refreshments.
Visitors: Parking is available at the Georgia Tech Student Center (Visitor Lot #4 located at corner of Ferst/Atlantic) or at the Georgia Tech Hotel.
