Tom Wall Receives ACRP Award

Thomas Wall, a doctoral student in transportation systems engineering, was recently awarded an Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Graduate Research Award by the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies.  Originally from Seattle, WA, Tom holds an Honors B.S. in civil engineering from Oregon State University and an M.S. in civil engineering from Georgia Tech.  His ACRP research involves investigating ways to collect and use Facebook online social networking data to better understand how individuals make long-distance travel choices in the United States.  Tom’s advisor for this project is Dr. Kari Edison Watkins (CEE).
