The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech is proud to present the 3rd Annual Alumni Weekend in Washington DC on April 17 – 19, 2009. Alumni from the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering along with other prominent alumni and friends are invited to participate. Highlights of the weekend include a historical look at the influence of Georgia Tech in constructing the District, a keynote address from a POW hero, a look at the future refurbishment of the National Mall, a panel discussion on the Future of Sustainable Infrastructure in the US, and a reception and dinner at the Smithsonian's Castle including an address from Secretary, G. Wayne Clough, former President of Georgia Tech.
